This hand crafted 30 second looping animation is perfect for those of us entering the snowy winter months. It is offered for you to download and use completely free of charge. Use it as a background in worship, to set the mood or layer it into another composition.
Created in after effects and meticulously layered in a 3d composition then add in a very gentile breeze action and some wiggle to each individual flake of snow and boom, snowy night without going out in the cold dead of winter to capture it (though I think I’ll have to eventually since there is just no substitute for the real thing sometimes). I also created a version with larger rotating vector snowflakes for a more stylized feel that you can check out here.
This has been my most popular loop on youtube by far and I couldn’t be happier to give it away for free. However, I do wonder sometimes what it’s been getting up to out there in the wide world (we get visitors from over 140 different countries). If you have a sec, I’d love to hear how and where everyone isusing it – just for fun! Go ahead and leave a comment below, it would be very much appreciated.

How do I download it to my computer? I have never done this before….
How do I download?
Just above the comment section there are two links (High def and Standard def). Choose which one will work best for you (most likely has to do with aspect ratio). You will need to ‘right-click’ or ‘control-click’ to bring up a contextual menu and (depending on your browser) choose something like ‘save link as’ or ‘download target file’ or something to that effect. On the other hand if you happen to be on a mac, I know you can just hold the option key down while clicking on the links and it will automatically start the download process.
Thanks for you interest in our site!
I like this one also Now I don’t know which one to use on my computer backround now???
Can we use this for Youtube videos and credit you in the description? I will bring you more popularity.
Can you tell me what you will use if for on Youtube? If you just want repost it, then no I’d rather you didn’t. However if you want to mix it into another original work, then I’m happy to give permission and I’d be thrilled if you credited freeworshiploops.com in the description.
